The project mobileSweden started in 2000 as a hobby activity by Jan Andersson with the purpose of creating a joint information source for tourists travelling with mobile WAP phones.

mobileSweden has together with the increasing popularity of WAP and new technologies such as GPRS moved away from beeing a hobby activity with only one developer.

Today mobileSweden has three active developers and marketers, who are working with the aim of getting all municipals in Sweden to join the WAP site and making a comprehensive service for all tourists visiting our country.
